Each year Hannibal Rotarians live out our motto together, "Service Above Self," by ringing bells for the Salvation Army, assisting at The Central Food Bank's Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive, picking up trash for Hannibal Parks & Rec, and much more.
Each year Rotary provides a large gift to support the work of a project in the area. This year Douglass Community Service's Summer Lunch Program and Supper Super program was selected to receive a $15,000 to purchase a van to help distribute meals to children at-risk of being hungry through the Summer Lunch Program and Super Supper Program.
Organizations and projects in the Hannibal Community are financially supported through the work of Community Action Committee (CAC). Each year around $6,000 are given to various community organizations and programs through mini-grants. An application can be found below to apply for a CAC grant.
